Description:  This session examines educational and assistive technology and software applications and hardware that might be helpful in the educational and life activities of students who experience dyslexia.  Recognizing the variety of ways that dyslexia manifests individuals, various ways of support reading, writing, spelling, language, organization and other areas of life are discussed.  Demonstrations of the wide range of different tools available and an opportunity to examine processes to assist supporting the person with the appropriate scaffold and accommodations will be conducted.  Time will be available for participants to experiment with some of the tools available.
